Chopin V Novice Level
Chopin PSG

I have trained all my own horses from unbroken youngsters and my current horse Chopin V is competing Advanced Medium (Affiliated), Prix St Georges (Unaffiliated) and working Intermediare I at home. During 2008 I spent some time training in Germany which has assisted me with my training methods.

I have learnt a lot along the way and wish to share my knowledge with others climbing the levels of Dressage.

I am happy to ride and train your horse to reach the required standard in an approach to improving you and your horse as one unit.

Training is provided in a 20 x40 floodlit arena with mirrors.

45 min session on own horse £30
45 min session on my horse £45
45 min session training your horse £35

My training is delivered in line with the 'Training Scales' and my aim is to ensure that the basics are well established before moving to the next level. All Horse & Rider combinations are different and each horse needs to have built up the muscular structure to enable it to cope with the level of work asked.

It is a known fact that when competing Horse & Rider combinations perform 20% less than at home! The situation, the weather, the competitive spirt all play a part in the final performance. In most cases the rider is the instigator of any anxiety or tension and the horse reacts accordingly!

Additional training on coping with situations i.e. a spooky arena, umbrellas etc.... can be arranged. This is an important factor when competing, the unknown! If your horse is used to such things, it will be one hurdle out of the way!
